Changed my life

After days (even years) of trying to figure out how to play back my 2 TB music collection, and on the verge of dropping 1200 bucks on a Bluesound Vault, I finally read an obscure thread that mentioned FE as a solution, simply by plugging my 2TB USB drive into my AirPort Extreme and using FE to play the tunes... Love it! Dont care thats its only one album at a time, Im overjoyed.

Not Compatible with Apple TV

This paid app is not compatible with Apple TV. I would only install it on the Apple TV. This app was meant to be used on tablet or phone and then with Airplay use it with the Apple TV. There is a market for this app because syncing your current movies through iTunes on your mac and then streaming through your Apple TV 3 or lower was very buggy. Consumers should not have to pay twice.

Socket timed out ???

How do you fix this error?

Works great with WD My Cloud on local network

I found this app best alternative for Official WD app. This app support many type of video file and Unicode subtitles.

Play the videos on my Mac is super fast & easy

Great App!Please keep working on it

Wished Sooner

A great compliment to my Apple Extreme router. I connect 4 or 5 external hard drives and they all show up on all of my OS devices. I can easily open any compatible document or video. Plus the ability to see or move data around on the hard drives. All from my iPhone, or iPads. Its like having a USB port right on my OS devices. And its like having my own local cloud service. It shows up as an app on iTunes and I can drag videos and such right into my OS devices right from iTunes. Even a folder full of data. This is a wish come true!

Unparalleled convenience

This app has been a lifesaver, especially in the live theater environment.

Used to work for OSX and Linux but stopped.

Windows 10 works, none of the others do.

The best

Fast and flawless. Enough said.

Not impressed

If simple files are all you need then it will do what it is intended. My objective was to watch a movie and it had difficulty with it, and it will not process the sound. Free version also couldnt process sound for video, I thought buying the 5 dollar version would open that ability and it did not.

Great App

Love this app. I like the fact that I can access my video files from all my devices, while allowing my family to access theirs. Worth the money.

The best $5 I ever Spent

It works exactly as explained. I can even copy videos from my NAS to my iPad to go on trips!

NAS access from my phone

More music and video than my phone could ever hold. I have the hand held jukebox of my dreams without fighting with a client computer. Spend the $5, its cheaper than therapy.

Great tool for moving files on a network

It works great for retrieving files from Mac and Windows computers. I also really like the ability to copy to/from multiple Dropbox and Onedrive accounts. Makes the iPad so much more useful.

easy to all your shared data

love being able to get to my NAS and all the videos backed up on it, from any device. And all the other shared folders on computers throughout the house. great app, and its available on the new Apple TV too, sweet

Does exactly what I needed to do

I have a home server that hosts pretty much all of my files. This allows me to easily connect to it over my home network and access them.

Perfect for what I need

I love this app; its fast and lets me access files on my NAS from my iPhone. If I could add anything, I would like to see the ability to skip to the next video/shuffle playback of videos. Figured out how to get list view back, so reverting to 5 stars. Thanks!

2 new features

I really like this app. But the default video player doesnt support vp6 and new MKV files. Also, is there any chance to add DLNA support?

Crashes a lot

Easy to setup. Nice features. To many crashes on my devices.

The Swiss Army knife of File Mgt for iOS

This app is extremely flexible, with a clean UI, thats easy to start using. It provides excellent mobility of your files between most any system and its SW. Additionally, it serves as a player-reader for many of the files we typically transport around.
