Does support Windows 10
UPDATE 6/28/17: This app is so frigging useful, I feel I have to spice up my review every once in a while. Keep it fresh. So in response to the reviewer who says it doesnt work with Windows 10, I can say it works perfectly with my Windows 10 desktop, as it did with my Surface Pro II before that. Well, almost perfectly. Im not sure if its a limitation of Windows SMB, but I cannot access the two external hard drives that are connected to my desktop via USB, just the C drive. I instantly get an error message.
I use the term "instantly" in that last sentence not to exaggerate a problem but to segway into mentioning another great thing about the app. File access through SMB is near instantaneous. I do love my Readdle apps, but their otherwise awesome file management system takes forever to initialize when connecting this way. Even when the "premature basic authorization" is enabled, I wait 20-30 seconds for the files to show up. File Explorer has no such delay. Or it does but its more like a second, and less like warming up a frozen bagel in the microwave.
OLD: For a long time, this app was the best only because there was (shockingly) nothing else out there did what this app does. There is still nothing out there, but WWith the latest round of refinements I can say its the best because its a well-rounded, easy-to-use, versatile, functional, polished piece of software. Heres to looking forward to the next update.
